So I’m chilling in Thailand right now. We walked 1200+ steps to reach a ginormous buddha. It was worth the trip just admiring the view and wondering how people got building materials up high. Only needs that antenna photoshopped out ;).

Singaporean Clothespins
I remember this as one of the first things striking me as weird in Singapore. Singaporeans use 4 meter long bamboo poles around 3 cm in diameter to hang their clothes to dry. You manoeuvre these things outside to hang between two facing walls. So you need quite huge clothespins.

Hearts in Eindhoven Park
Just a random shot of the park from way back. Fellow warsow Polish player muCh4 came by my place for one day. We went to the park to enjoy our weed, like you do when foreign warsow players visit.

Colourcoding
Pink is for girls. Toilets at Boon Lay MRT station being colorcoded like WDM2, you got to love this city!

These are not...
I know, it’s kind of lame and I expressed my attitude about the message on these safety barriers already, but as a change for a photoblog, this is not about the picture. I haven’t updated anything in a while, since I’m too busy with school.
So I’m still very alive and still doing stuff in Singapore. I’m prioritizing doing my stuff over sharing it. I guess I’ll be back posting in a couple of weeks.

This heroic looking figure is Peter. He’s a Canadian moonty. And the guy is all aboot surfing. When we were getting our tan on, he was oot on the waves. I think he surfed around twice as much as I did. So props to him.

Chris Yap's Exposition
Today I attended a talk by one of Singapore’s photographers Chris Yap. He talked about his most recent exposition which was on display in Japan. It’s an exposition on plants for which he did not even use a camera, but a scanner.
The most amazing thing was his view on photography. Clearly, if you make a photo exposition with a scanner, you have to have a somewhat uncommon view on photography. It was inspiring.

This is not a safety barrier
You see this kind of barriers everywhere in Singapore. There’s the text “warning! this is not a safety barrier” written on them. Why?
I encountered this particular one in the Botanical Gardens and it wasn’t too shy to get on the picture.
